1.1.5.4 (2010/01/04) :

Changes/New features:

• Allow definition of intervals for begin/end date.
• Enhanced filter definition on object relation to/from.
• Filter editor, default selection of active database.

• Intuitive calendar pre-selection on date time dialog box.
• Intuitive BC check-box selection on date interval activation.

Bug corrections:

• Wrong item selection on drag and drop in the tree has been fixed.
• Wrong vertical scrollbar setting of timeline view when period bar is visible has been fixed.
• Filter editor gives only reference to database objects for database defined filters.

• Bad property format saved in workspace has been fixed.

Changes/New features:

• Export views in windows enhanced metafile format (*.emf). The file can be open on most of the vectorial drawing applications.
• Copy view content on clipboard so it can be paste on drawing application. Operation can be triggered from the view toolbar or standard Ctrl-v shortcut.
• Changed the font used for displaying the labels of the divisions in the timeline view.
• Changed the icon of the "export as picture" button in the view toolbar.

• Frozen application on pattern searching in HTML view has been fixed.

Changes/New features:

• Keep backup copy of database file on the disk (IHX format only). The copy is made after each saving and contains the image of the database before modification.
• Changed format of the database display in html format. Operation "Show Content..." for database and "Show Details..." for events, persons or locations.
• Show all the links of one event or person. Menu operation is "Show Relations...".

Changes/New features:

• On open database, new view is open only if database was open properly.
• Enable navigattion autosearch. If the navigation fails, the autosearch functionality attempts to navigate common root domains (.com, .edu, and so on). If this also fails, the URL is passed to a search engine.

Bug corrections:

• Search triggered on the web view on clicking 'F' key has been fixed.

• Added several extra info on IHX files usefull for dumping database into html.

• Cannot display bookmarked URL has been fixed.
• Problems with management of the web history and displaying of the current url on address bar.

• Adaptation to the changes that'll come on the new website search engine.
• Align default saving date format with xsd standard.
• Dissociate database name and URI.

• Display remote pictures on picture bar.

• Multi-media references cannot be displayed on object properties dialog box has been fixed.
• Making link from event to multi-media object is no more possible.
• Saving undefined date as empty strings has been fixed.
• Tree icon not updated when changing multi-media object type from picture to non picture has been fixed.
• On new database, no timeline view is created if one is already open.
• On new database, timeline view open with dummy settings has been fixed.
• Import multi-media objects dialog box, error in folder selection has been fixed.
• Workaround for IE7 bug: Crash on attempt to connect internet on auto connect mode with no access to network.
• Not loaded view profiles and filter definitions of remote database has been fixed.
• Cannot read ged database with file extension in capital letter has been fixed.
• Timeline view sort criteria reset to none when editing view profile with no changes on sort criteria.

• On open remote database, use database defined view profile if one exists.
• Genealogical View/Tooltips: Display dates with their proper types (day, month, year).
• Display date modifier (before, around, ...) in the tooltips of the timeline and genealogical views.

Bug corrections:

• Badly displayed dates in the event properties dialog box when modifier is "to" has been fixed.

• Management of mixed calendar in a date interval:
  • Date aggregation keeps calendar of the aggregated events.
  • Tooltips/Timeline view title bar display the calendars of each of the start and end dates in an interval.
• Event Properties, date panel: On interval activation, the end date takes by default the calendar of the start date.
• Timeline view status bar displays day of the week on the mouse pointer position.
• Allow to link events even if the parent event is already indirectly linked with the child event.
• On open database, enable horizontal scroll option of the new timeline view.

Bug corrections:

• Wrong computation of the event durantion when two different calendars are used for start and end date.
• On create event "adjust links" check box not disabled has been fixed.
• View profile filter not activated on open database has been fixed.

• Timeline View:
  • Bug on cache cleanup when event is deleted has been fixed.
  • Sort child events by dates, timeline view not properly updated has been fixed.
  • Child event displayed twice when moving from folder to parent on the tree has been fixed.
  • Child event no more displayed after moving event from parent to folder on the tree has been fixed.
  • Troubleshooting on event selection after moving event from parent to folder on the tree has been fixed.
• Date of event not reset (auto-adjust) when changing event relations on the tree view has been fixed.
  • Missing title bar separator has been fixed.
